This year's biggest goals to achieve?
That's an easy answer. First off, I want to... No! I WILL publish this year the two books I'm currently working on. If you've listened to the episode of Spoiler Alert featuring Venus Teagan, you got the tea on what I'm working on. I originally was working on three projects, but I've since shelved one of the projects for a later time in my career. The two remaining are House Divided, which is book 2 of my Dwelling in My Heart Series, and Give Him My Love. I'd ideally like GHML to come out around my birthday and HD to be released before the end of the year, but I don't have specific dates set in stone right now.
My second goal is to have at least 10,000 page reads for the year. I know some of my favorites have larger goals for their page reads but we're taking baby steps over here. If I hit higher than that, I might act a fool. But I'm still celebrating with the little bit. It's all about being thankful where you are.
Third, because I like a trifecta, become more visible as an author. I am in so many book groups on social media and socialize with several people on them, but I don't put my face or voice out there nearly as much as I should. I have a whole YouTube channel that I don't put anything on. It's time to step it up if I want to be more well known.
While these three goals are not my only ones I have set, they are a few of the more important ones as a writer. Pray my strength because, even though I love taking pictures, I am not the biggest fan of being on video or in the spotlight. However, sometimes we have to get out of our own way to get to where we want to be.
