March has slipped past us and I can't believe we are already a quarter into 2023. I was very light-ish on my reading for the month. I wanted to go so much harder than I did. But as a few fellow authors reminded me, I need to focus on my manuscripts and the best way to do that is to limit my reading of other people's work. The majority of my reading for March was intentional reading.
I didn't participate in the normal group prompts in the Hopeful Heartbreakers and for the first time since I've been actively receiving them, I didn't complete the Kindle Challenge. I had a feeling that was going to happen though. However, I DID read 12 books: 3 NTM authors, 2 reads for the podcast, 1 for the CCJ book of the month chat, & 2 audiobooks were included.
In order for my to prepare for the podcast, I did have to read an additional book, Uncovering Love by M. Monique. Although the book Blu is not in a series, the MMC was introduced in UL, which features his twin brother's book. Since Blu was in date order of M. Monique catalog, it made since to get background info from the prior book before reading it. And I'm so glad I did because those damn twins!!!!! Whew!
Anyway, below are the authors, narrators, and books I read for March. As always, the links are provided for all. If you see something interesting, go ahead click away and enjoy.
