It's that time again! Monthly WrapUp time!!!!! This month's reading was a little chaotic for me. There are SEVERAL new to me authors on the list. In fact, half the books I read were by NTM authors. Thank my Surname Challenge for that. I only have 4 more letters in the alphabet and I'll be finished with it, though. I also had specific tropes stuck in my head and asked for reccomendations. The sibling/best friend & secret baby tropes kept popping up for me, so I indulged... I need to go through the list to see what I still have left to read from the recs too.
A couple of the books I read were things I normally don't go for. I'm not a huge urban lit fan and I'm all about the romance with a HEA (happily ever after) or HFN (happy for now) ending. I'm not going to sugarcoat my opinion on some of the books I've read this month. A few of these were NOT romance nor did I enjoy how they came to an end. At least one of them will probably never get another read from me. (And I usually give a 2-book try before saying that) I just could NOT get into their writing style nor the plot of the book. And a little research was had to see if they had other types of books... It was a no. So, I rated accordingly. Then, there were some books I didn't think I was going to enjoy as much as I did. Like I said, it was chaotic. lol Nevertheless, they have been fully read and rated/reviewed on Goodreads/Amazon & Storygraph.
